WHICH HAS GENEROUSLY AWARDED US THE FUNDS TO HEAT THE POOL THIS SEASON
Since the lifting of the Covid-19 restrictions, the timetable for the 2021 Season now includes Open Swims with a maximum of 30 swimmers and there are no restrictions on the number of spectators allowed on the Pool site.
Parent & Toddler / Child Swims on a Sunday morning are for a Maximum of 10 swimmers.
All these sessions run on a "first-come-first-served" basis with no pre-booking required.
Adult Swims for between 3 & 10 swimmers and Private Group sessions for up to 30 people continue to run & they must be booked in advance via the website (see details below).
Anyone who has any of the symptoms of Covid-19
including a high temperature or a new persistent cough should not come to the pool.
Adult Swim Sessions 16+
ADULT SWIMS ARE RESTRICTED TO A MAXIMUM OF 10 SWIMMERS PER SESSION
AGED 16 YEARS & OVER
It is not cost-effective to have a lifeguard waiting at the pool for the Adult Swim sessions as numbers are often small. A minimum of 3 people are required for an Adult session to run (for Health & Safety reasons a lifeguard is "on call" for all Adult Swim sessions). Adult Swims cost £3 per 50 minute session - pay on the poolside on arrival or purchase Tokens in advance from the Tuck shop or Metheringham Gym. Tokens are £3 each (or one swim). Special offer buy 10 tokens for the price of 9.
Book Online before 9pm the day before
Since the 2020 Season we now have an automated booking system for the Adult swim sessions.
Go to the Opening Times page. Select your desired DATE & session TIME and click the xxxxxxxx button.
This will ask you to register by entering your email address. You will only have to do this once (unless you intend to access the system on more than one device).
You will then receive a validation email. (Don't forget to check your spam folder!) When you click on the link in the email you will automatically be re-directed to a simple registration form.
Once the form is complete you will be able to add yourself to any adult swim session by clicking on the button and you will receive a confirmation email each time.
Please note: this system works by placing a cookie on your device. you will need to enable cookies for our website or the system will keep asking you to sign up every time you try to book.
If for any reason you cannot complete the process and still continue to see the SIGN-UP button - please contact us and we will try to resolve the situation.
Any session which does not have the required minimum of 3 swimmers booked in by 9pm the previous day will not go ahead. Once that cut-off time has passed you will receive a final email confirming the status of the session.

Private Bookings
Please DO NOT PAY until you have filled in the Application Form and received an email from the automated booking system; confirming that you are first in the queue and your session has been staffed and asking you to pay.
From 21st June 2021 we are making pre-bookable, 1 hour slots (45 minutes in the water + 15 minutes changing time) available at different times during the day. These slots can be booked by a group up to a maximum of 30 people (including swimmers and spectators). In line with the current guidance, a group can be made up from different households.
Slots can be booked until 2 days in advance, but can only be opened up if a Lifeguard and a Volunteer are available to run the session.
You will need a lead person for your group who will be responsible for booking the session and for ensuring that all members of the group are aware of the requirements for social distancing as outlined on our Covid-19 Information Page.
We have to account for everyone who is on the pool site, so spectators are welcome but must be included in the booking numbers.
The cost of the session is £40 for up to 15 people; £50 for 16 to 30 people. Sessions must be paid for in advance via BACS payment directly to the pool account (if you cannot pay by BACS please contact us).
If you want to book a session, go to the Opening Times page. Select your desired date & session time and click the BOOK button. You will then complete the booking via an online application form.
If you want a longer session (eg for a party) simply book two slots back-to-back. If you would like to have a BBQ, please bring a disposable BBQ with you. You must finish cooking and clear up 15 minutes before the end of your time slot to allow the lifeguard and volunteer time to complete their cleaning.
The toilets and changing rooms will be available and a limited menu of drinks and pre-packaged snacks can be purchased from the Tuck Shop.
Swimmers MUST vacate the pool 15 minutes before the end of their session to allow adequate cleaning time before the next session starts.
General Rules
By following these simple rules we can be sure that the pool is safe for everyone to use.

All non-swimmers must be accompanied by a swimmer who is with them in the pool at all times.

Our lifeguards are highly trained to ensure the safety of all the swimmers in the pool - they cannot act as babysitters!

All swimmers must vacate the Pool when instructed by the Lifeguard.

All swimmers and spectators must have vacated the pool site by 15 minutes after the session has finished to allow time for a safe exit for themselves and safe entry for the next group.
Please be aware that WE CANNOT ACCEPT card or electronic payments at the pool at this time.
