Opening Times

The timetable page displays the sessions for the current week. If a session is crossed out on the timetable, it means it is not running for that week.  We run more sessions in the school summer holidays after 19th July 2019

Adult Swim Sessions

It is not cost-effective to have a life-guard waiting at the pool for the Adult and Early-bird sessions as numbers are often small. A minimum of 3 people are required for an Adult session to run (this is for Health and safety reasons as a lifeguard is not present).

Unless we know that there are enough people coming the session will not run; therefore we have set up a messenger page on Facebook for people to join so that we will always know if there are enough swimmers for the sessions. If you send us a message we will add you to the group.

The Band System

Swim bands are used in the Open Swim  sessions.

You can buy a band for a 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour session.

Bands are only sold  on the half hour or hour as follows:

1 hr - 1.30, 2.00, 2.30, 3.00 & 3.30.

2 hrs -1.30, 2.00  & 2.30

3 hrs - 1.30 only

Swimmers will come out of the pool when the lifeguard calls out the colour of the band they are wearing

Rules of the Pool

By following these simple rules we can be sure that the pool is safe for everyone to use.

All non-swimmers must be accompanied by a swimmer who is with them in the pool at all times.

Our lifeguards are highly trained to ensure the safety of all the swimmers in the pool - they cannot act as babysitters!.

All swimmers must have vacated the changing rooms and pool area by 15 minutes after each swimming session has finished

Interested in helping run our tuck shop?  Simply email us on and leave the rest to us.

Session Ending Procedure

A whistle is blown 15 minutes before the end of each session.

We ask all swimmers to exit the pool at this point as we only have 15 minutes to test the water and clean the pool so it is ready for the next session.
